CLAT Question Paper will be prepared from five different sections such as Legal Aptitude, General knowledge and Current Affairs, Numerical Ability, English with comprehension, and Reasoning. Those five sections will constitute a total of 200 Marks. Each section’s weight of marks will vary as different no of questions will be asked.

CLAT Syllabus 2022
General Knowledge/Current Affairs
- This section will test the candidates’ awareness of national and international happenings and static knowledge.
- Candidates will have to cover wide syllabus as questions may be asked from different disciplines such as General Science, Economy, Politics etc.
- Experts advise candidates to follow Lucent GK Book, Manorama Year Book 2021, and read daily Newspapers to prepare better.
English with Comprehension
- This section prepared to test candidates’ efficiency in the English language and comprehension understanding.
- Questions will be asked from an understanding of English Comprehension based questions and English Grammar.
- Candidates are suggested to follow Wren and Martins High School Grammar, Word Power Made Easy, Objective General English By SP Bakshi.
Numerical Ability
- This section will ask the question of mathematics to check your Numerical Ability.
- Questions will be based on 10th Standard.
- Candidates are suggested to follow CBSE 10th Standard Mathematics Book.
Legal Aptitude
- Legal Aptitude section prepared to test candidates’ research ability, problem-solving ability as well as to know candidates interest in legal studies.
- Questions will be asked based on hypothesis, it is expected from candidates to answer those questions by assuming those hypothesis to be true.
- Candidates are advised to strengthen their legal aptitude section by practicing questions from Universal’s LLB Entrance Guide and CLAT and LLB Entrance exam by Bhardwaj.
Logical Reasoning
- This section is very common for most of the entrance exams.
- Questions will be asked to test candidates’ ability to answer logically by identifying patterns, detecting logic, etc.
- RS Aggarwal for logical reasoning One of the most popular and useful books to prepare this section.

CLAT Exam Pattern: Complete Details
CLAT Exam Pattern includes all the details of the CLAT Exam sch as Important Topics to prepare, Format of the CLAT Exam Question Paper, Distribution of the Question Paper form different subjects, Total No. of the Questions, Marking Scheme of the Question Paper etc.
CLAT 2022 Exam will be conducted in the month of May 08, 2022. All those candidates who are preparing for the CLAT 2022 Exam must be aware of the CLAT Exam pattern as it will enhance and boost their preparation.
