BHU School Entrance Test (SET) Application Form 2021 

Banaras Hindu University is to release the Admission Notification for the Girls and Boys applicants for admission in classes 6th, 9th, and 11th. Students are interested to get admission to the Central Hindu Girls’ School and Central Hindu Boys’ School. BHU authority takes admission through the CHGS & CHBS Schools in 6th/ 9th/ 11th Classes.

BHU SET Entrance Test Application Fees

Students who are willing to take admission have to pay the entrance examination fee while online Registration For Entrance Test 2021. 

• General students – INR 400/-
• SC/ ST Community Students –  INR 200/-

Application Form can be the fee paid through Online mode using Credit/ Debit/ Cash/ Challan etc.  BHU SET 6^th/9^th/11^th Entrance Test Fee can be the fee paid offline mode also through the HDFC Bank Challan.

Eligibility for BHU CHS SET 2021 

Before applying to the SET of Banaras Hindu University aspirants need to require Eligibility Criteria.

Class 6th: Students’ age should be 10 Years to 12 years age as on September 30, 2021, and passed class V examination from a school, which is recognized by Board.

Class 9th: Applicants’ age should be between 13 Years to 15 years age as on September 30, 2021, and passed class VIII examination from a school, which is recognized by Board.

Class 11th: Students who are willing to take admission in eleven their age should be 18 Years maximum age as on September 30, 2021, and passed class X examination from a recognized Board/University with the required passing percentage.

Admission Criteria – BHU SET CHS Class 6th/ 9th/ 11th 

Applicants will get admission on the basis of marks scored in BHU SET 2021. For ensuring admission first have to crack the entrance exam and have to qualify for the interview and fulfill all of the terms and conditions as per the applied category. 

 For external candidates (coming through SET) in class 11th 

1)> Above 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for admission in Science Stream. Above 50% marks or equivalent grade require is essential in each, Science and Mathematics for admission to Science group.

2)  Students who are willing to take admission in the Commerce stream need to obtain more than 40% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for commerce.

3) Admission  XIth in Arts Stream – aspirants to having admission in Class XIth with the subject of Arts they require passed matriculation/Xth Exam.

Seat Allotments in BHU Class 6/9/11 through SET 2021

50% seats available for children of permanent employees of Banaras Hindu University subject to securing a minimum of 33% marks in the Entrance Test. If there is no such seat required then vacant seats will be converted to General Category seats.

Seat Reservation:

Students who belong to SC categories for them 15% seats & ST Categories 5 % seats are reserved and 3% seats are served for Physically Handicapped aspirants.

General Admission Rules:

Internal candidates who appeared in the examination of class X from CHBS and CHGS they will have the option to appear in SET as external candidates. They can avail both the facilities to take admission as an internal candidate.
