Patna University is started the CBCS as per new update. Students who take admission in the self-finance Course such students can get the facility of CBCS. This is a new updation by the university. Choice Base Credit System 

Students can take the additional subject in their course with the course of their syllabus. Credit will be given for that subject also and the result will be added in the final result as well as. As per Choice Based Credit System students can opt any of the subjects from the stream of Arts, Science or Commerce.

There are some of the Post-Graduation Course in i.e. PG Diploma in Women Study, PG diploma in Computer Application, PG Diploma in Human Resource, PG Diploma in Women and Child Welfare and PG Diploma in Clinical Psychology courses are included.
